Funding For Further Mathematics projects

The National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM) and the Further Mathematics Support Programme (FMSP) are committed to supporting teachers of A level and Further Mathematics. You may be interested in these opportunities:

Further Mathematics Knowledge Networks (FMKN)

The NCETM is offering small amounts of funding to support the development of FMKNs  by funding teacher groups to work collaboratively to develop Further Mathematics knowledge and pedagogy. The selected networks will each be awarded £2,000 and will be supported by their FMSP Area Coordinator and NCETM Regional coordinator. The group will be asked to produce a report on their progress and findings.

Teacher Projects

The National Centre is looking to support a number of small, short term projects. We believe this experience will lead to participants wishing to take teacher enquiry further in the future. We can offer small amounts of funding (no more than £1000) together with some online support from a member of your NCETM regional coordination team to start you off and support you in your teacher enquiry.
