Tuesday December 7th FMKN CPD “Using Autograph” - Postgraduate Statistics Centre, Lancaster University, 2 - 4pm
As part of the national Further Mathematics Knowledge Network scheme, we’ll be holding an interactive “Using Autograph” CPD session, aimed at all teachers of mathematics (though the focus will be on A Level provision), on Tuesday 7 December between 2pm and 4pm in the Postgraduate Statistics Centre at Lancaster University.
Autograph (http://www.autograph-math.com/) is probably the most powerful graph-plotting and data presentation software available for the classroom today. Martin Bamber, from Liverpool University and the Further Mathematics Support Programme, will be taking you through the package and offering tips on how to make the most of it for your students. You should find the session useful, whether or not you've used Autograph before. The session is FREE and refreshments will be provided, but we do need to know numbers in advance. If you are interested in attending then please email me, as soon as possible, at j.groves@lancaster.ac.uk .The latest time for registering is Monday 6 December at 1pm. If there is demand, we will be running the session again in early 2011.
