Accessing resources and support
Local Authorities, universities and teacher training institutions should email admin@furthermaths.org.uk to find out how to access FMSP facilities. Registration is for schools and colleges only.
Registering with the FMSP
English schools and colleges can register with the FMSP to access the services provided by the Further Mathematics Support Programme.
These include a free single-user teacher access to extensive online Further Mathematics resources (including materials for the Applied A Level modules), resources to support the principal learning mathematics unit within the Level 3 Engineering Diploma and invitations to participate in study days, revision days and student enrichment activities.
Once registered, schools and colleges may also take advantage of the local FMSP tutoring facilities.
Support for Further Mathematics in Wales
Welsh schools and colleges can register with the FMSP Wales to access the services provided by the Further Mathematics Support Programme in Wales.
These include a free single-user teacher access to extensive online Further Mathematics resources (including materials for the Applied A Level modules), resources to support the principal learning Mathematics unit within the Level 3 Engineering Diploma and invitations to participate in study days, revision days and student enrichment activities being offered in Wales.
In addition, a three year Further Mathematics Support Programme pilot project offering Further Mathematics tuition in Wales is being funded by Department for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills (DCELLS), the Welsh Assembly Government and managed by the Wales Institute of Mathematical and Computational Sciences (WIMCS). The pilot area is the counties of Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, Swansea and Neath Port Talbot and also schools and colleges near the boundaries of those counties. Schools and colleges in the pilot area may arrange tuition with the FMSP Wales.
